 Preliminary Task & Narrative construction 

Task:

Basically the idea and the narrative was given by our teacher. We had to shoot a short film, in which our subject is sitting on a bench and is depressed and gloomy. The subject gets up and goes to a door and tries to open it but they cannot open the door so they are shown to be even more sad/ overwhelmed by the fact they cant open the door.

Shots that we had to include in our film:

• Show one person ( gender neutral)
• Sitting on a bench ( emotional, upset)
• Stands up to open a door
• Tries but the door isnt opening 
• He gives up frustrated 
• Sits down and starts crying 
• Main focus: Show emotions and continuity
